Bruno was an Italian barman who served Mike Baldwin and fashion designer Christine Millward in their London hotel when they made a business trip to the capital in January 1985. On their first night he served them brandies after their meal and the same was ordered the second night but changed for champagne when Mike and Christine decided to drink a toast to a successful meeting with some buyers. Credited as "Barman", the character was named in dialogue in his second appearance.
