Nyx Barca was one of the higher elven ladies in Illunii. She was a member of the House of Barca, wife of Thanatos Barca and mother of Persephone Barca. She learned of her husband's affair with the human necromancer Deidra Finian and was later murdered by her own daughter who was collaborating with Jezebeth. Nyx's final moments while alive were full of bitterness which left her suspectible to the dark whispers of the Land of the Dead. She was later resurrected as an undead by Persephone in Shipwreck Cove.
