It wasn't until 2211 CE that the Kinaro discovered faster than light travel, shortly after the tribes formed a united government. A decade later the made contact with the Galactic Federation of Allied Systems, and the two began talks to join the Federation. However, after it became apparent the Federation had an insatiable need for the Serria's palladium deposits unrest began on the planet. The end result was a 6 year conflict known as the Kinaro Rebellions, that ended with the near extermination of the Kinaro people, over two-thirds of the population of Serria were killed. Even as of 2270 CE the Kinaro people still harbor a deep hatred for the rest of the galaxy, and are rarely seen outside of their own devastated system.
