An article of The Herald dated 26 November 1959 reported that King George VI, his wife the Queen, and princesses Elizabeth and Margaret returned from their "triumphant empire tour." They travelled by the HMY Britannia, and arrived at Southampton. Rita Hawks, reading the issue two days later, knew full well that the King had died eight years earlier, and that one of his girls had become Queen. (PROSE: Loving the Alien) In fact, it was Elizabeth who was Queen beginning in 1952, succeeding her father. (PROSE: Players, TV: The Idiot's Lantern)
