The Rise of Iron Record Book is a progress item that tracks a player's advancement through the challenges of the Rise of Iron expansion. The record book is not an inventory item, but is visible in the Progress section of the game and of the Bungie.net website. Progress across all characters on an account is shared. The record book's tasks are divided into four sections, each containing eight tasks which must be completed one or more times to unlock. Unlocking a task grants progress towards the player's overall Rise of Iron completion, which grants rewards as new levels are reached.
