T'Zan was the wife of Vulcan Healer Sorel. They had met at the Vulcan Science Academy while students there. They bonded and had two children, a son and a daughter. She was injured in a accident in the neuroscience lab at the Academy and was killed by sabotage of her static chamber during treatment at the Vulcan Academy Hospital.
