Aerina is the more important mare goddess. She is the mother of the horse race, wife of Aronos, and during the golden years of the Equim reign she was the protector goddess of pregnacy on women. During night, pregnant women burned some flowers to invoke Aerina and commended her babies. Herlis was saved from the end of Equim being transformed in winged mare by Aerina. She was the last high priestess of Aerina. Her history after leaving Equim is unknown.
