Garches was a Havenite citizen and a non-comissioned officer of the Office of State Security. Holding the rank of Corporal, she served in the SS detachment at the Havenite embassy on Earth. She had combat experience, but was killed by Victor Cachat without great effort during the "rescue" of Helen Zilwicki. (HHA4.5: F)
