The Methodist Church serves the community of Tashmore, Maine. William Blakee served as pastor and Rhoda Parks served as secretary. During the Summer of 1990, the Church hosted a picnic at Tashmore Lake, where eight people were poisoned, six of whom died including Blakee and Parks.
