Templex is a regular user of the forums, NUMA, and the N IRC. Before August 2005, he was known as astro1798. As a veteran author he has made maps of a high caliber, and is especially known for his rocky, cave style maps. His first map was submitted to NUMA on 7 June 2005 and was a DDA. In August/September 2005 he got overly concerned about ratings and (regrettably) deleted many of his earlier maps. Afterwards he had a period of success with rocky, jagged maps. He eventually got tired of making them and began branching out into other styles. As of 4 October 2010, Templex has submitted 186 maps to NUMA with his most recent being 28 March 2009. Templex was the one that suggested "Member Numbers" to Arachnid.
