Captain Benjamin Pierce was a U.S. Army officer who makes a one-time appearance in the Season 6 episode of M*A*S*H titled "Mail Call Three". The part of Ben Pierce was played by actor Oliver Clark who also played Lieutenant Tippy Brooks in "38 Across" (Season 5). The full name "Benjamin" is used in the show dialogue but the credits list the character simply as "Captain Ben Pierce", probably to avoid confusion. The insignia on his left lapel show that he is from the infantry branch of service.
