Camaar is a port city in what is now Sendaria. It is the second largest city in Sendaria after the capital of Sendar itself. The sorcerer Belgarath spent several years there back when it was still a part of Algaria, drinking himself into oblivion after the death of his wife Poledra. The finest inn in the city is the Lion, where then-Captain Brendig arrested Belgarath, Polgara, Silk, Barak, Durnik and Garion during the early stage of their pursuit of Zedar.
