The Death Phoenix is a powerful, deadly creature that threatened to bring all of RuneScape to an end just by being born. It saps all life from those around it if left unchecked, though like a normal Phoenix, cannot truly die itself unless its rebirthing powers are blocked. It uses a dark gray version of the Fire Surge as its main offense, though will sometimes use its weaker Ranged attack. If the player is within one square of the Death Phoenix, it will also occasionally use a weak Melee attack that can drain lifepoints and prayer.
