In one universe, Population III stars were the oldest of three types of stars (the others being Population I stars and Population II stars). In the early days of the universe, Population III stars were the fuel for vast newly created galaxies. Population III stars were supermassive, exhausting their fuel three or four hundred times faster than Population I stars (like Earth's Sol for example). By Omega's time, there were almost no Population III stars left in the universe. Qqaba was one such Population III star. (PROSE: The Infinity Doctors)
