By 2186 CE, Ulkanas has had an influx of over 700,000 colonists and more than 250,000 agricultural facilities have been constructed on the world's surface. Though Ulkanas is a small world, it has seen much conflict throughout it's brief history. Only months after it's founding, Ulkanas was invaded by an army of vorcha raiders and months after that, a civil conflict erupted which stemmed from territorial disputes. The small colony nearly collapsed until a garrison of Hierarchy troops was stationed on the planet to bring order and civil law.
