The Stray Potamus is a Mission Exclusive Enemy in Xenoblade Chronicles X. It is a Potamus and can be found at level 25 in Sylvalum on the southern part of the strip of land separating the two halves of Lake Ciel. It drops the Sapphire Ring needed to start Hair Apparent. When Hair Apparent is completed, the Stray Potamus will respawn, but if it is defeated again it will drop a second Sapphire Ring and not respawn.
