Ethiopia (also known as Abyssinia) is a country in Europa Universalis II. In normal games, its provinces are coloured brown. In fantasia games, its provinces are coloured light orange. Ethiopia uses the default AI File. The real Ethiopia was a country throughout the period of the game, and was the only African nation that was never colonized by the Europeans (unless you count the Italian invasion of the 1930s). It is likely the origin of the European legend of Prester John.
