Essentially the same design as the Dark Matter Rifle, this deadly Proxima weapon fires bursts of pure, shaped light matter. Light matter supercharges molecules with light energy, eventually causing them to disintegrate from stress. After an object is hit by one of these bursts, it disintegrates little by little for an approximate timespan of zero to five seconds, depending on said object's density. It seems that if the temperature is higher when using this rifle, the light matter bursts are more intense, although this has yet to be officially confirmed. Like the Dark Matter Rifle, the Light Matter Rifle requires approximately two seconds of charge time per shot, and has a 4X scope.
