Ben Grimm (of Earth-12041), better known as the Thing, is a member of the Fantastic Four and an ally of both S.H.I.E.L.D. and Spider-Man. The Thing has a longtime rivalry with the Hulk and will take any opportunity to fight him, so he can prove he's the stronger of the two.
