Jim Henson: Designs and Doodles was an exhibit of Jim Henson's artwork that took place in 1996 at the National Arts Club in New York City. The exhibit, which was curated by Henson archivist Karen Falk and sponsored by The Jim Henson Legacy, featured some 100 drawings and watercolors selected from The Jim Henson Company Archives. The exhibit also marked the first time that many of Henson's pieces were made available for public viewing—an experience that proved so popular that the exhibit later served as the basis for the book Jim Henson's Designs and Doodles.
