Suzume Mochiko was the youngest child of the Sparrow Clan Champion, Suzume Yugoki and as such knew she would never lead the clan. This did not concern her however, as it allowed her to follow her own path. This path was that of kenjutsu, and Mochiko became one of the finest masters of the blade the Sparrow Clan had ever seen. If not for her humble nature and devotion to the Tao she could be recognized for this throughout the Empire. Her skill with the blade as well as academic knowledge has led her to become the sensei of the Kyuden Suzume Dojo.
