Mempa IV was a planet, the fourth planet in the Mempa star system. Mempa IV was the home of a Klingon colony, and was located in the Mempa sector of the Klingon Empire. Mempa IV is notable for being the birthplace of Chancellor K'mpec. Mempa is also home to a popular annual knife-fighting contest, the Mempa Knife Duels. (TLE novel: The Art of the Impossible)
