The 1982 Goody's 300 was the first ever Busch Series event held in NASCAR history. It occured at the Daytona International Speedway on February 13, 1982. Dale Earnhardt, quickly becoming a legend became the series' first winner, holding off Jody Ridley for the win. Stats
