The Heriditas Expedition was an exploratory force in the Second Age, loyal to Zaros under the command of Pontifex Bilrach and Tribune Lucien. Their only known mission was an exploration into the Kharidian Desert to search for the remains of Tumeken. However, after a sandstorm forced them to lose their way and nearly half their troops and supplies, the force stumbled upon the site where Tumeken had sacrificed himself, now a desert nomad camp led by the Mahjarrat Temekel. After a brief fight, Temekel was slain and the Heart of the Sun was taken by the Expedition.
