Chad Everett (born Raymon Lee Cramton) is an American actor who plays Jerry Maddox on Castle. On July 24, 2012, Everett who had been suffering from lung cancer for the past 18 months, died at the age of 76 at his home in California. He is best known for starring in the former long-running 1960s-'70s TV drama "Medical Center" as Dr. Joe Gannon.
