Chief is also hypothyroid and has an autoimmune skin disease. His autoimmune disease is in remission. He is on Purina DCO dog food which he is fed 2 1/4 cups at 7 am with shot - Novolin N 16 1/2 units, 1:00 pm 1/2 cup food (no shot), 7 pm 2 1/4 cup food with shot - Novolin N 15 1/2 units.
