When Sarah Platt was badly injured in a joyriding accident in a car driven by Aidan Critchley and stolen from Ken Barlow, the unnamed Firefighter was one of the men that cut the unconscious girl out of the overturned vehicle while paramedic Carla Holmes provided first aid.
