Jabba, also referred to as Jabba the Hutt, was a member of the Hutt Cartel during the Invasion of Utapau. He had control over nearly all of Tatooine and built a fortress in the center of the Anchorhead settlement. Annikin Skywalker, a moisture farmer on the outskirts of Anchorhead who was once brought before Jabba after winning a swoop race, believed that living under Jabba's control was the closest thing to to being a slave without chains around his ankle.
