Wally's parents debut in Chapter 186. They contact Norman and specifically ask him not to teach Wally how to capture a Pokémon because of their worries about Wally. Ruby brings Wally to their house after Wally passes out. They put Wally's unconscious body in bed and offer Ruby a place to spend the night.
