Billy is begrudgingly training three possible new members of the virgin squad. A girl named Tamar who can control bricks with her mind, a boy named Russ who can amplify radio signals, and Amanda. Amanda is unable to harness her VHI and connect with her powers and gets frustrated. Billy and her are about to break into an argument but are interrupted by Paulie. He explains a group of bullies are attempting to shake down an innocent nerd at the ice-cream shop. The virgins burst in to come to the boys defence, but when a cop walks in the bullies leave of their own accord.
