Robert W. Chambers revealed two extracts from Act 1, Scene 2 of The King In Yellow, their order is uncertain. These extracts are Cassilda's Song and the following exchange: Camilla: You, sir, should unmask. Stranger: Indeed? Cassilda: Indeed, it's time. We all have laid aside disguise but you. Stranger: I wear no mask. Camilla: (Terrified, aside to Cassilda) No mask? No mask! These words preface The Mask in Chambers' book and may be those of the last lines of the first act.
