Kochanski was a Human who lived on Torgu-Va in 2367. Kochanski was part of the squad that met Commander William T. Riker and Doctor Janice Eardman after they had beamed down to Torgu-Va. Kochanski had taken up the rear as the party was traveling to the Federation Battle Station Torgu-Va. Kochanski was the descendant of the USS Verdun crewmember Kochanski.
