Asahina Seido in the Aoijiroi province was a major shrine to the marriage of Asahina family founder Asahina and his bride Doji Kiriko. It was built in 363 near Honored Guest Road, halfway between Pale Oak Castle and Hopeful Rest City. The shrine was seen as a symbol of the alliance between the largely pacifistic Crane and Phoenix clans. Peace treaties were often brought to the shrine for blessings to ensure their success. The monks that tended this shrine were typically a mix of retired Isawa and Asahina.
