Yanth was a member of the Hutt species, and was a Vigo of Black Sun. He owned the Tusken Oasis nightclub. In 32 BBY, he was interested in buying a holocron from Lorn Pavan, containing information about the Invasion of Naboo for half a million credits. He was killed by Darth Maul along with 2 other Trandoshan bodyguards at the Tusken Oasis nightclub. When Obi-Wan Kenobi investigated his death on the Jedi Council's orders, he thought Yanth was shot by a blaster pistol.
