The magazine's publication began with a special newsstand-only special holiday issue in late 2010. The magazine's first official issue was released on newsstands on March 22, 2011. It is also available via subscription. As of 2014, Future issues of Phineas and Ferb Magazine as well as future subscriptions are published and available through Redan Publishing. As of February 2015, publishing of this magazine has ceased, due to the show ending.
