The Invader was a Force-manifestation of Annikin Skywalker's greatest fear. Created from a Force nexus within the Temple of Desire in the ancient ruins of Arrakeen on Tatooine, Skywalker was confronted by the manifestation, which appeared to want to kill him, after refusing to give into his romantic desires after being tempted by Eden, also a manifestation. In his vision, Skywalker found that Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi had been killed by the Invader, though Kenobi, who had not been killed, was able to snap him out of the vision before the Invader was able to kill Skywalker as well.
