Nield was a Human male who was one of the teenage leaders of the Young, a youth organization that halted the civil war between the Melida and the Daan on the planet Melida/Daan. Nield was a strict leader, primarily in the way he disciplined the other children. When his ally, Cerasi, was killed, Nield began to hate his comrade-in-arms, Obi-Wan Kenobi. However, the two made up to an extent after the civil war ended. At that time, Nield became one of the three leading members of Melida/Daan.
