In Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, Shitari was one of the original 'big three' of the Gedoushu, along with Dokoku Chimatsuri and Dayu Usukawa. He was the only one of the three to appear in Kamen Rider Decade. Having survived the climax of Shinkenger, he was killed in Tensou Sentai Goseiger vs. Shinkenger: Epic on Ginmaku at the hands of Gokai Red in his team's first appearance.
