Thomas Wayne was a doctor in Gotham City. He was the husband of Martha Wayne, and the father of Bruce Wayne. After taking his wife and son to see The Mark of Zorro, they were stopped at gunpoint. When he tried to throw a punch at the robber to protect his family, Dr. Wayne and his wife were shot in cold blood murder. Thomas' son Bruce would grow up to become Batman.
