Sesame Workshop executive Terry Fitzpatrick led a presentation at the 2008 Show on digital media for children, highlighting concerns in the industry, as well as their products, including the Sesame Street Web Video Player, podcast, and mobile phone content. He cited a study by the Joan Ganz Cooney Center, which stated that only two of 20 educational video games has an actual curriculum behind it. The show featured an Elvis-haired Elmo singing "Viva Las Vegas" and telling the crowd "Vegas is my kind of town! Elmo loves technology."
