Mandrills, also known as Kung Pao, were the basic security force employed by the Panda King to protect his stronghold in the Kunlun Mountains. They were purple mandrills with a green muzzle and red and white pants. The mandrill guards' eyes were red and yellow, which gave them a somewhat crazed look. Their weapon of choice was a staff, which, along with their karate moves, proved to be a very effective weapon. They could be defeated with one hit. Sly's Binocucom states that they live for the World Cup. Statues of mandrill guards can be found in the Panda King's stronghold and General Tsao's palace.
