Blaze the Cat has found herself on Sonic the Hedgehog's planet, attempting to locate the seven Sol Emeralds that may save her world from destruction. However, her actions, as well as Sonic's attempt to retrieve the Chaos Emeralds bring their two universes dangerously close to merging. It turns out to the evil machinations of Eggman and Blaze's enemy Eggman Nega, although the worlds are saved thanks to Super Sonic and Burning Blaze. A side story to this adventure is Blaze learning to accept the help of friends such as perpetually polite Cream the Rabbit.
