The Silver Speeder was a modified zZip Product Concepts Limited X-X landspeeder owned by the bounty hunter Boba Fett in the early years of the Galactic Empire. Fett acquired the speeder after chasing down a mark on the planet Rivvidu and equipped it well to enable him to attack his targets with an armament that included laser cannons, magnetic harpoons and vibrosaws. In 15 BBY, Fett, acting on a contract from the Annoo-dat crime lord Sise Fromm to capture the young speeder racers Thall Joben and Jord Dusat, and their friend Kea Moll, followed Joben's speeder, the White Witch, into the Boonta Speeder Race.
