Rhodok Trained Spearmen are melee troops of the Kingdom of Rhodoks. These units have been significantly improved in between original game and Warband. Originally they were armed with one-handed spears and shields only, making them highly resistant to missiles but nearly useless in close combat. That way, they were nearly useless, almost impossible to upgrade unit with no real place in combat. Adding them a two-handed Pike and a helmet was one of the best improvements made in Warband.
