Amy Pearce is Bill's daughter. Amy was a student in Gabrielle's modelling class with Vern. When Gabrielle first sees her walk the runway in the Winter Beauty Pageant audition she thinks she is horrible, so she calls her father in to tell him she didn't make it. The moment she sees Bill she instantly loves him, causing her to put Amy back in the pageant so she had an excuse to see Bill for dinner.
