The Galaga Starfighter is a modern re-creation of one of the very first starfighters created by the Terrans of Sol. Originally concieved at the tail end of the First Galaxian War, the prototype would not be completed till several months after the war ended, when it was mothballed for several years. When the Galaxians invaded for the second time the prototype was immediately pressed into service, finally proving it's combat superiority despite being several years old. The Galaga nearly single-handedly won the Second Galaxian War by nearly wiping out the entire invading fleet.
