Playpen is a men's magazine. Several issues of the magazine were in the luggage of passengers of Oceanic Flight 815. Many of them found their way into Sawyer's stash. Charlie removed the magazines, along with the rest of the contents of Sawyer's stash to be shared with the group. Even though Sawyer later lost his ping pong game with Hurley for his possessions, Hurley returned the magazines, implying that no one else wanted them.
