Orak was a mutual friend of Jake Sisko and Leanne, the latter of whom he dated for a time until mid-2371. After Leanne's return to Deep Space 9 from Bajor, she bumped into Jake and humorously recalled the time that she, Jake, and Orak had dinner at the Klingon restaurant. Jake, who hadn't seen Orak in a while, asked Leanne how he was doing, to which she replied that they had stopped seeing each other a few weeks earlier.
