Andrews has about a dozen movie roles and fifty television guest appearances to his credit, but he is probably best known for his Emmy Award- and Golden Globe-nominated regular role as police captain Adam Greer on The Mod Squad, co-starring future Star Trek: Deep Space Nine guest actor Clarence Williams III. Andrews passed away in Encino, California, at the age of 86, leaving behind six children, 11 grandchildren, and a career spanning more than 60 years.
