Mad Hatter is a major antagonist in Batman: Shadow War. He is obsessed from a young age with Lewis Carrol's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. He is an expert hypnotist, embracing a delusion that he is an incarnation of the character of the story, Mad Hatter.
